The Construction Source Australia

4 | JAXON Construction JAXON is a leading Western Australian owned and operated building company. Throughout their long history, they have been involved with a long list of highly ac- claimed and well received large scale accom- modation and commercial projects. “We deliver solidly built, high quality buildings for thousands of people who live and work in them,” says Mark Kepplinger, General Manager Commercial for the group. JAXON has a strong design and construct desire and have experienced professionals in place to deliver. “We’ve been building quality construc- tion in Western Australia for more than 50 years,” he says. “We focus on delivering excel- lence and true value for our clients.” “We’ve built a reputation,” he adds. “We’re known for excellence design and construc- tion that’s delivered on time and on budget. We’ve been trusted by government and cor- porate clients for decades.” Over the years, JAXON has delivered a long list of successful luxury apartments, am- bitious urban renewal projects, and efficient affordable housing ventures. A key example is their work on the South Hedland New Living Program, which is the largest urban renewal project ever undertaken in Western Australia. According to Mark, JAXON’s role in that ongoing project “isn’t just build- ing homes, its building communities.” “That project sees us complete land subdi- visions, housing refurbishments, infrastruc- ture upgrades, and community initiatives,” he says. “To date, we’ve delivered more than 350refurbishments and more than 650resi- dential lots.” SETTING THE BENCHMARK I t is very refreshing to be associated with such a construction company as JAXON. During our toughest times in 2013 whilst experiencing 5 months of Receiver- ship Jaxon made an enormous e ort to ensure assistance was given to assist Global in ful lling all project obliga- tions. It is this type of relationship that strengthens the commitment to strive forward and produce good results for each other and not just a one sided a air. The 7th of November was the o cial date that Global Electrotech was released from the receivership shackles and the business returned to its normal modes of opera- tion. It is refreshing to report the positive feedback we have received from industry clients and competitors during and after this period. To date the business has been moving forward, showing signs of above average growth and good steady results across all business units. Now we are looking forward to the year ahead, gaining back the con dence in the construction and service industries we work in and align ourselves with clients with stronger relationship ties to ensure a prosperous future.
