Di Bucci & Son date back to 1960, when Amico “Mick” Di Bucco moved from Italy to Australia and embarked on a building career. He started off working as a tiler, concreter, and “anything else, really,” Greg recalls. “That’s how it was in Italy in those days – they used to be jacks of all trades.” In 1964, Mick moved into working with another building company, supervising small houses and additions. He built his first house on his own in 1969, making it his family home. He liked the experience, so he went on to become registered and form his own company.
