It was quite difficult having to build while it was still being designed, but we’ve had a very good association with the architects over many years and were able to work closely with them to come up with a fantastic looking shop for the client at the end of the day.” Additionally, Alexander Interiors won New South Wales Interior Fitout of the Year for MaxMarra, which was “very exciting” for Craig because he was directly involved in the project from the outset and had influence over many key aspects, including concept, site selection and planning. He also worked very closely with the attending architects to ensure the designs adhered to Australian standards and building codes whilst also complying with the building’s heritage status.
