Over the years, he has developed strong relationships with key local trades and suppliers – relationships which ensure the company can maintain competitive price points without compromising on quality. “While price is important, we ultimately select our trades based on attention to detail, innovation, craftsmanship and project commitment,” he says. “We also look at their history, and their performance on other projects.” “We also have great relationships with suppliers,” he adds. “We try and stick to the same local suppliers, so that when we need something in a hurry we can count on them to help make it happen.” In general, when E1 finds a partner that can deliver to their standards, they tend to stick with them for the long run. Mitchell says that many of their partners have been working with the company since the beginning of the Group, or not long after. GETTING IT RIGHT Over the last three years, E1 Group has already been involved in a number of significant projects in the region.
