That is why we take on a limited number oflarge projectsat any one time, as we pay special attention to each and every one.” GR Ford Constructions’ main focus has always been the commercial sector,where an estimated 75 percent of the company’s work is carried out. Depending on the size of the project, their commercial works have varied in value up to and including multi-million dollar contracts. The remaining 25 per cent of their workload is in the residential sector, where the prices of their homes tend to be in the medium to high-end market, at times in excess of $1 Million price range. In both sectors, GR Ford Constructionsfosters extraordinarily close relationships with clients. Glen credits that fact, again, to his personalised focus and his commitment to being hands-on with every job. That closeness is re-assuring the client, and it also means every project

Glen is particularly proud of that project, because it was the first of its kind the company ever took on. “I found that particular commercial assignment very interesting,” he says.“It was different from any other projects we had done before. They are also finalists in the judging for an Australian HIA award this coming May STAYING LOCAL Moving forward, Glen says the company will grow in the coming years, but he doesn’t want to see them grow too big. “We don’t have any desire or intention to grow to have branches or other offices in other towns,” he says. “We want to continue concentrating on our local market and area, doing fundamentally what we’ve been doing, and what we’ve been doing well.” “I want to keep providing that ease-of-contact and personalised service within the commercial sector,” he concludes. “And within the residential sector, I want to build innovative, cutting edge style designed homes.”
