Macquarie Designer Homes was established by Managing Director, Theo Van Bezouwen, more than two decades ago. He founded the business in the Newcastle Area, which is where it remains today. The company’s environmental focus is evident in their display home, which has been designated a 6-Star energy rating. It contains energy-efficient features such as LED lighting, upgraded ceiling insulation to provide cooler summers and warmer winters and low E glazing on the windows to provide a natural alternative to air conditioning, amongst other innovative ideas.
