Sovereign only works with a limited number of customers a year to make sure those capabilities are never compromised – and the clients they do work with tend to value that. “Our clients deal with the managers of all our departments, and get a more personalized service,” David explains. “They aren’t just dealing with a salesman or client liaison – they are dealing with every manager, and they’re ensuring we’re meeting the targets they expect.” David says there are approximately 80 steps from first engaging with a customer to getting them to site. At each of those steps, Sovereign ensures that the client is being kept informed, and their expectations are being met or exceeded. As Managing Director, David also makes sure to interact with every client personally, right from the beginning of a project. That kind of direct access is not possible with bigger builders, and Sovereign’s clients really value it.
