Sun Engineering | TAKING PRIDE Sun Engineering was initially formed roughly 40 years ago by Chris’ grandfather and company founder Patrick McMonagle. Initially, the company serviced the power generation and mining industries in Queensland. In the years since, the company has steadily grown in size, reach and capacity, as well as expanded their client base. Today, they have a large portfolio of longstanding employees, have worked all throughout the country and abroad and own large fabrication, painting and construction facilities in Australia and China. They now have the ability to design, fabricate and construct a wide variety of projects in their target markets. Sun Engineering’s Australian facility is one of the largest capacity general fabrication shops in the region, and their Chinese facility is a well-equipped 22,000 square metre plant with European management. The company also owns a fleet of cranes that support their manufacturing and construction projects.
