Welcome to the latest issue of Construction Source Australia, the magazine that highlights the best of the best in building and building products across the country. In this edition, we look mostly at custom home-builders, the kind that helps their customers achieve their dreams. Their goals are largely the same, but their locations and methods vary, and we’ve tried to discover how. Bailey Homes, for example, is a builder of choice in South Australia’s South Coast. They have been operating since 1991, and have been winning awards basically since the jump. We talked to founder and director Don Bailey about the company’s award-winning streak, and we highlighted some of their most well-regarded homes. Castleprime Construction, meanwhile, is a Perth-based new home builder. They have also been highly-acclaimed by their peers in the industry, as well as their clients. Again, we spoke to one of their founders and directors about that recognition and all the effort that goes into earning it. There’s also PK Construction. They’re also based out of Perth, and they’re also multi-award-winning – though they focus on renovations and additions, for which they are well known in the city’s north-western suburbs. Founder and Managing Director Paul Keunen talked to us about building that reputation, and about maintaining it through constant improvement.
