According to Paul, that house underwent a “large transformation,” and the company enjoyed a very close relationship with the owner. “They were actually a new client,” he ex- plains. “They had phoned several of ourpre- vious clients to do some research, and were more than happy with the references they received.” On the actual project, the clients worked collaboratively with Paul on the design, giv- ing him “a little bit of free reign to try and come up the best achievable results for their project and their property.” He reiterates that a lot of the credit for the result goes to his team of subcontractors – many of whom have been with him since he started the company almost 20 years ago. “When we have a good trade come on board with us, we tend to stick with them,” he says. “We can rely on them, and we know
