Dion Group also writes and submits weekly progress reports. Those reports are typically about 20 pages, and they “encapsulate everything about the build, literally from A to Z.” Dion Group is also able to deliver projects quickly, which clients appreciate. According to George, where other companies usually take a year to a year-anda-half, Dion Group takes about eight months. George credits that speediness to his project management background, as well as to the relationships he’s built with his trades, who he relies on heavily. “We’re not a company that directly employs a vast amount of carpenters,” he admits. “Instead, we work with subcontractors – people who, if they don’t solely work with us, they work with us the vast majority of the time.” “We know what to expect from them, and they know what to expect from us,” he continues. “They also have access to all of our project management software, so they always know where they have to be and when. There’s never any confusion about where the site is and what day they have to be there. That system goes a long
