The Construction Source Australia

JANUARY 2022 Nielsen, Sales & Marketing Director. “We won’t deliver anything we’re not proud of and prepared to stand behind. We feel like our projects are some of the best on the market.” Matt personally comes from a background in real estate, and he’s a partner in Point Realty and Point Project Marketing. He first worked with Tye Alroe as a client – his was the first house Alroe Constructions built in Kingscliff, just south of the Gold Coast. At the time, he and his partners were also looking to partner up with a builder to do some of their own developments. Tye happened to be looking for a partner to help with his sales and marketing. Matt was impressed with the way Tye did business, and vice versa, so they decided to team up. The partnership has led to a lot of synergy, Matt explains. “We’re identifying and fulfilling a need that nobody else is really fulfilling,” he says. “We can take developers from the very early stage of a project all the way through to the end.” “We can help them with site selection, we can do feasibility studies, and we can assist with the DA packages. We have design capabilities in-house, so we can provide full designand-construct services, and we can make sure the design fits their budget expectations. Then we can then assist with the full branding, marketing, and project sales. We can offer small-to-medium developers a level of service that they can’t really get anywhere else.” Most of Alroe Construction’s projects are now mid-to-highendmulti residential projects. In particular, they have identified a local demand for “luxury fourpacks, six-packs, and eightpacks.” “We have carved out that niche,” Matt says. “In that sector, we’re now considered one of the industry leaders along the Gold Coast, northern New South Wales, and Brisbane.” Matt credits Alroe
