As previously mentioned, Derek believes that the next step in the evolution of Symmetric Homes is to develop more of their own projects. Again, they have already started down that path – first with 60 townhomes in Point Cook and now with 90 homes in Melton. They are excited about those projects and eager to do more. That said, Derek says they still value their investor clients. They are currently doing a series of specialist disability accommodation (SDA) projects for investors, and they are equally excited about their work in that sector. According to Derek, those units fit well with the company’s ethos of giving back and contributing to the community. “Giving back is a huge thing for Chris and Katya,” Derek says.
