When the company started growing faster than Rod anticipated, he brought on some partners and the company changed their name. In the early years of the company’s life, RJG Builders did a lot of work in the education sector,mostly on refurbishment projects ranging anywhere up from $200,000 to $800,000. Since then, they have slowly but steadily expanded their portfolio. Today, they are doing a lot more design-and-construct work, particularly in the private sector. Their projects are now typically valued at over $1 million. Their near-term aim is to take on even bigger projects, the kind of projects valued up to $5 million.
