Over the last couple years, the majority of Alroe Constructions’ projects have been luxury fourpacks, six-packs, and eightpacks. Those builds are still important to the company’s business, Matt says, however they are also expanding into taller buildings and even some mixed-use projects. For example, they are currently providing both design and construction services for two 14-storey projects. On one of those high-rises, the first eight storeys will be specialist disability accommodation (SDA) dwellings funded by the NDIS, while the above floors will include sub penthouses and penthouse units and rooftop amenities. The other high-rise will comprise 20 units. Moving forward, Alroe Constructions’ goal is to do more of those kinds of projects – meaning, they want to do more residential high-rises, NDIS projects, child care facilities and offices, and also more designand-construct (D&C) contracts.
