Director Aaron Larmond found his inspiration for Another Level Patching while working on construction sites in Brisbane and Gold Coast. He saw a niche in the building market that needed to be filled as he observed the make-up of concrete restoration teams. “I realized they could do better if they brought in younger workers, basically, more skilled patchers than the employees doing the job.” Capitalizing on what he saw, Aaron and his partner Sjadei Kiwi started ALP five years ago with a focus youth, innovation, and energy. “That’s what we’re looking for, young and vibrant,” he says. The concept worked and ALP has seen continued growth securing its place as a leader in their specialty. Now, they are the largest concrete restoration company in Queensland. “We are the largest and we are growing fast,” Aaron says. Receiving an enterprise bargaining agreement (EBA) has also helped elevate their reputation within the industry and ramped up the caliber of projects that they are able to take on.
