“We have a large female presence in our company in accounts and higher office jobs,” says Josh. Currently, one of the larger jobs Kelm Hire is involved in is the Metro Tunnel expansion in Melbourne. Scheduled to open in 2025, the Metro Tunnel will double the size of Melbourne’s underground rail network as the city moves towards becoming Australia’s biggest. By creating a second rail line under the city, the Metro Tunnel will ease congestion in the City Loop for more reliable services on other lines. Kelm Hire is proud to have played a role in such a significant endeavour. Their goal is to be involved in more significant projects like that one in the future, as Josh says they have the equipment catalogue and the industry expertise to reliably tackle jobs of any size and complexity. In recent years, Kelm Hire’s capability has become more and more recognized, and the company has grown quickly as a result. Moving forward, Josh says they want to capitalize on their growing reputation and continue expanding. “We are experiencing rapid growth by being one of the most responsive hire companies in Melbourne today,” he says. “We want to grow into a national company.
