“It was initially in carpentry, and from there it has grown into where it is today,” he says. “When I was working for myself, I subcontracted to other builders. And, then I started doing my own smaller carpentry jobs like pergolas, carports, smaller jobs with only a carpentry scope. At some point I upgraded my license to a building license and then I started taking on larger jobs.” Today, Bishop Building has seen continued growth and earned a respected place in the industry. Matt credits the company’s growth to the solid reputation they have built within the community. “I think that being in a smaller, sort of country town, reputation is a huge part of it. So, word of mouth is probably the best form of advertising,” he explains.
