dream homes come alive.” Their display home in the Brookhaven estate in Bahrs Scrub has been one of Buddy’s personal favourite builds. “My team were all personally involved in the design and construction of this build, we were all very hands on, building the decks, completing the landscaping, and even assembling the furniture. I feel like this has created a sense of character and warmth to the home. It’s my favourite home. Some of the designing was very on trend for example curved walls and the raised ceiling and curved kitchen with curved bench. That was one of the strong points of the build. The house isn’t that big but it gives the feeling of a lot of space.” Regarding trends in new structures, Buddy says he’s surprised to see arches become popular again. He also feels the new aluminum cladding material being used on exteriors looks impressive. Buddy’s franchise is a member of Queensland Master Builders, where he says his franchise receives “a lot of invaluable help from Adam and his team,” and “with the Master Builders we have a wealth of knowledge at our fingertips at all time.” During the last four years, Buddy’s team has also been lucky enough to have come second twice for ‘Best Construction Team’ (GJ Gardner Homes internal corporate award). “This is great for our construction team to know that their hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.” They have also received three awards for their Brookhaven display home in Bahrs Scrub. In 2022 they won ‘Display Home of the Year’ at GJ Gardner Homes international conference, and in 2023 they won Gold Coast and Queensland ‘Display Home JULY 2024
