“We’ll take on anything in the residential space that is unique and a potentially award-winning project.” Zanetto takes on a lot of commercial work as well. Kyle’s passion for construction was lit when he started Zanetto Builders at age 23, seven years after he earned his apprenticeship license. It has grown from small team of five or six to twenty in northern Tasmania and six in the south. Their workload on the east coast is growing as well. Their main base is in Launceston, but Kyle says “we will travel anywhere in Tasmania to build.” These days, Zanetto Builders works exclusively with clients who seek their company out. Clients that apply to work with Zanetto go through a qualification process based on what their expectations of the build are, their financial expectations are, and how much cash they have to get the project over the line. “I personally work on the entire preconstruction exercise,” says Kyle. He calls his system the Forever Home process. “I’ve laid out clearly all the paid-out hurdles to ensure we work with the right customers and provide a successful preconstruction experience.” JUNE 2024
