B & K Revegetation and Landscaping is an industry leader in commercial landscape construction, revegetation, bush regeneration, and mine site rehabilitation. Michael Thurston, who is associated with the business through his work as Construction Manager at B & K Developments, says the company’s family atmosphere, high-quality work, and emphasis on client relationships make it a great place to work and do business. “It’s a family run business with a strong family culture throughout all the employees. When the company’s founders, Brendan Nebauer and his wife, Kathie, started their venture, they provided landscaping services to private clients equipped with only a mini moke, a 6x4 box trailer, and a set of hand tools. Since 1983, their business has grown to become one of Australia’s leaders in commercial landscaping and revegetation. Today, they have three strategically placed branches across NSW, servicing from Eden on the NSW South Coast to Tweed Heads on the NSW North Coast, and all the way out West to Broken Hill NSW. Michael has been a licensed builder since 1987 and began contract building under his own license that year. He became associated with B & K thanks to his reputation as an award-winning builder of high-end custom residential properties across the Central Coast. He became part of the B & K family when his daughter married one of Brendan and Kathie’s sons.
