The Construction Source Australia

Welcome to the latest issue of Construction Source Australia, the magazine that highlights the best in building and building products across the country. For this edition, we have shown our spotlight on Jamar Building Services – a local, family-run business based in Port Lincoln, South Australia. They are a company deeply committed to delivering high-quality custom homes and equally committed to the betterment of their community. We talked to company c-founder and director Rhys Marsh about how they honour both of those commitments. We also discussed the company’s goal of “truly understanding the unique vision of each client,” as well as everything that goes in to bringing those visions to life. Also in this issue is K2 Property Development Group, a longstanding company with a storied history. Since forming in 1965 as a modest family-led homebuilding company, they have evolved into one of Australia’s most forward-thinking, lifestyle-focused property developers. We spoke to second generation managing director Michael Koundouris about the company’s evolution, about their journey from Canberra to Sydney, and about some of their upcoming skyline-shaping projects. We also talked about their strategy of retaining certain commercial elements of their projects, which helps them to ensure their products are meeting the needs of residents on a continual longterm basis. Then there’s Glask Construction, a Western Australian design and construction company truly guided by the visions of their clients. As led by managing director Kieran Glaser and his wife Olivia, they are a company dedicated to going “all in” at every stage of a project, from the initial planning stages to the final touches. We talked to Kieran about everything that entails and we highlighted some of their recent projects, including a big expansion to an Australian Post warehouse facility. For those stories – and a whole lot more like them, in this edition and future editions – just keep reading. All the best, The Editorial Team We will keep adding business units that enhance our offering and separate us from our competition. “ ” Editor From The Dear Reader,
