The Construction Source Australia

AUGUST 2025 bringing a sense of history and character to the home. “The clients gave us a lot of trust to push the design and try things we hadn’t done before,” Cameron recalls. “It was one of those projects where everyone—our team, our trades, and the clients—felt really proud of the result.” When asked what’s most fulfilling about his role today, Cameron reflects on how that’s evolved. “Early on, it was definitely about handing over the keys and seeing the smile on a client’s face. But now, it’s about seeing the team doing that— watching them grow, take ownership, and deliver those experiences themselves. That’s what’s most rewarding for me now.” Looking ahead, Pacific Blue isn’t chasing change for the sake of it. Instead, the goal is to continuously improve on what they already do best. The company has recently adopted virtual reality walkthrough technology, giving clients the ability to step inside their future home during the design process—a tool that’s helping bridge the gap for those who struggle to visualise spaces. “It’s not about doing something different—it’s about getting better at what we already do,” Cameron says. “Every day, we’re looking at how we can make the process better, clearer, and more enjoyable for our clients.” At the end of the day, Pacific Blue’s point of difference isn’t just about building homes—it’s about how they make people feel throughout the process. “I would never stand here and say we’re the only builder on the Sunshine Coast who can deliver a beautiful home,” Cameron says. “There are plenty of great builders out there. But the experience, the support, the process—that’s where we really focus. The beautiful home is the outcome, but the journey is what sets us apart.”
