improvement at the intersection of Hill Road and Bennelong Parkway in Wentworth Point. “This project addressed a history of collisions and congestion for that area and significantly improved the safety and traffic flow for about 14,000 residents,” says Assad. “Our engineers provided expert advice and construction support, overcoming challenges to deliver that vital project.” This was one of the crowning moments for the company, says Assad. “I’m a resident there, and I’ve noticed the difference this infrastructure project has made.” The project was delivered by the City of Parramatta in collaboration with the State of NSW. It was truly a group effort with the company’s pipeline division assisting in the delivery. “It’s an example of collaboration, and the two divisions complementing each other. We help each other wherever we can and lean on each other’s expertise, when possible,” says Assad. Ally Civil is conscious of the environmental impact of their work, says Assad. To minimise this impact and contribute to the circular economy they have invested in cutting-edge equipment for on-site material processing and recycling. This significantly reduces waste and transport costs. “The equipment’s compact size and four-star energy rating reduce our carbon footprint. We’ve diverted over 4,000 tons of waste from entering landfills in 2024.” THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE AUSTRALIA
