When David Antonacci founded Teeny Tiny Homes in 2016, it wasn’t with a business plan or the backing of investors. The company began simply, with one small build on his acreage in Queensland. While his new house was still being built by a larger company, David decided to construct a granny flat on the side to help ease his mortgage. The exposure alone has driven significant growth, but what really separates the company is its operations model. While many builders in Queensland complete around 12 homes in an entire year, Teeny Tiny Homes produces that number in a single month.
