Those were the values founder and director Joe Timpano instilled in the company from the very beginning, and those values continue to guide the business today. Joseph Timpano – Joe’s son and the general manager of the company – has been living those founding values his entire career, which has spanned almost all his life. Growing up, he spent weekends and school holidays working in the family business, and after graduating school he started learning the trade from the ground up – literally cleaning doors in the factory before starting his apprenticeship. Joseph went on to complete a double trade in wood machining and cabinet making, spending four or five years on the factory floor, working in the machine shop, running production alongside the foreman, and eventually moving into drafting and the office. By the time he took on the general manager role – roughly five or six years ago – he had sat in virtually every seat in the business. That comprehensive foundation shapes how Joseph leads.
