instead grow at a cautious and sustainable pace. He envisions a direct team of around 30 by 2032, with the company progressively moving into the super high-end of the market. He is also drawn to what he calls “destination builds” – which would involve taking the IDBG model to remarkable locations beyond Brisbane’s immediate footprint, whether on the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast, or even further afield to places like Tasmania. Additionally, as the company expands, they will also focus on refining their systems and processes and staying upto-date technologically. “If you’re not jumping onto AI, for example, you are going to get left behind,” Warren says. “So we’re looking at that now. We always try to stay ahead of the curve and make sure we’re incorporating new technology into our business where it fits.” At the same time, Warren emphasizes that some things will never change for IDBG – such as their high standards of quality or their unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. “We’re not going to turn into this massive company that compromises the values and standards we started with,” he says. “We’re always going to remain focused on the quality of our builds and making sure that our clients are at the forefront of everything we do.” JUNE 2026
