Over the years, Hardy Fencing has been involved in a number of high profile and large-scale projects. As a recent example, Sydney points to the Docker River Flexible Aged Care Facility, located in Kaltukatjara, one of the most remote communities in Australia. That $25 million facility was delivered by Intract Australia, an Indigenous-owned business unit of McMahon Services. As an Indigenous business, Intract specifically sought out Hardy Fencing for the fencing work, making it a clear example of one Indigenous business choosing to support another. The overall project is a fully equipped aged care facility that provides a culturally safe space that allows Indigenous Elders to remain connected to their community. It includes 26 beds, including two palliative care beds, as well as culturally responsive spaces and outdoor areas.
