According to Warren, Innovative Design & Build Group’s ability to deliver on their promises is a result of the calibre of their team. IDBG currently employs 18 people, from apprentices and carpenters through to leading hands, project managers, a construction manager, and Warren himself at the helm alongside administration manager Mel Davidson. Over the years, the company has maintained a notably low staff turnover, which Warren credits to a culture built on genuine investment in people. Quarterly team days – rock climbing, group activities – keep the camaraderie strong, but Warren believes what really keeps people around is the way they empower them and give them room to grow. “When I first started Innovative, I was definitely a control freak,” he admits. “Then I learned that best way for the company to grow was Room to grow JUNE 2026
